The first day back from Christmas Break marked the tenth annual Renew the Spirit of Camp all-school retreat.  Students spent the day in their camp advisories reminiscing about the good times at Fairfield University, the many activities at camp, the growth they made during the summer, and the goals they set for themselves.  Of course, it also included a whole lot of teamwork challenges and some good ol' fashioned dodgeball.  At Mass, Fr. Allen from Fairfield University celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany with the student body.  His homily of the wise men and Jesus being flames that light other flames, our camp theme, encouraged students to have goals, overcome obstacles, and share their talents with others.  Six students were recognized at the end of the day with a "Guiding Star" award for the work they have done since the end of camp.  It was a great day to get centered for the rest of the school year.
